Our story began in 1826 near the port of Rotterdam with two small-scale oil producers:
H. Spits en Zoon and H. de Haan en Zoon. After their merger, Vereenigde Oliefabrieken (United Oil Factories)
was born — combining generations of know-how and a shared commitment to quality.

Over the decades, we’ve grown into a trusted international supplier,
known for premium oils, fats, margarine, and sauces — crafted using our own proven
recipes or customized to meet customer requirements.
