Palmstearine – VO 70
The solid foundation of quality fats
Palmstearine is the solid fraction obtained when palm oil is separated into its solid and liquid parts through a process called fractionation. It is the harder, more saturated portion of palm oil, while the liquid part is known as palm olein. Palmstearine has a high melting point an firm texture, making it ideal for use in margarine, shortening, baking fats an many more.
Next to palmstearine, we also offer our own VO 70 blend. Which can be used for the same purpose as palmstearine.
